Today I will share with you about the famous unagi restaurant in Singapore named Man Man Unagi Restaurant.
I believed most of you in Singapore heard about this restaurant before, especially for unagi lovers.
Located at Keong Saik Road, this restaurant served fresh imported unagi supply directly from Japan. Want a prove? Please come to visit this restaurant. You can see there are a lot of living eels in the small pond, and the chef will cut the eel and grill it in front of your eyes.
I ordered Unatama Unagi Don (Una Don). It consists of 3 pieces of Unagi, Tamagoyaki, Soup and Pickles.
FYI, Una Don is a donburi type large bowl filled with steamed white rice, and topped with fillets of eel grilled. Tamagoyaki is a Japanese Rolled Omelette.
I can taste the freshness and crispiness of the unagi from the first bite.
Japanese Rolled Omelette texture is also soft and tasty.
The only comment I had personally was that the portion was not balanced between unagi and rice. The unagi portion was a bit too less. In the end, I need to eat rice only as my unagi and tamagoyaki were gone. Maybe you may consider to order Medium Una Don :)
If you plan to visit this restaurant in a big group or in the evening, please come early to avoid the crowd.
Will I go there again? Yes.
