Ho Kee Pau

Hello Everyone!!

I found this dim sum restaurant, Ho Kee Pau when went to Geylang for food hunting.

This restaurant sells many types of dim sum, such as: Loy Mai Kai, carrot cake, Big Pau, siew mai and many more.

We tried their Loy Mai Kai, Chicken Feet, Prawn Dumpling and Siew Mai.

Prawn Dumpling is one of the best seller foods over there. It is crispy and nice, but for me, it’s a bit oily.

Their Loy Mai Kai, Chicken Feet and Siew Mai are not bad either.

For the drink, we tried homemade Barley Water.

This restaurant’s decoration looks attractive for me. It got this vintage, old style restaurant that you usually saw in the old drama movie.

Previously I wrote about Yes Natural (F&B) Restaurant.  Today, I will share with you the Yes Natural (F&B) Bakery.

This bakery shop located just beside the Yes Natural (F&B) Restaurant. Over there, I found very unique bread called Bamboo Charcoal Loaf.

The outlook and texture of this bread is so unique for you to miss it. From the name Charcoal itself, you will imagine something black.

Yes, this bread is black in colour!! I have no idea whether they use Charcoal to produce this bread or not. It got many small pieces of crunchy peanut!

If you like sweet, you may want to put a jam or sugar on the bread.

Other than Bamboo Charcoal Loaf, they also have many other types of healthy bread and small pieces of cake.

Yes Natural (F&B) Vegetarian Restaurant

I always thought that vegetarian foods are not my cup of tea, until I tried the vegetarian dishes at Yes Natural (F&B) Vegetarian Restaurant.

Only then I realised that I was wrong =)

Yes Natural (F&B) Vegetarian Restaurant offers natural healthy vegetarian foods which: use organic rice, natural ingredients, less oil, less sugar, less salt, high fibres and no MSG added.

Over there, we ordered their recommended dishes such as: Pocket Salad, Fresh Veggie Noodle in Almond Sauce and Fu-rong toufu.

Pocket Salad is very nice. The bread is crispy, their vegetables are crunchy and fresh, the mayonnaise makes the overall taste perfect.

Since Yes Natural (F&B) Vegetarian Restaurant also open a bread shop, you might want to take a-way this special bread.

Fresh Veggie Noodle in Almond Sauce is not bad either. The vegetables are fresh and their almond sauce makes the taste even more unique.

Fu-rong Toufu (Peanut) is one of the desserts over there. For me, the taste is a bit bland, but it's absolutely a healthy dessert.

PS: If you like to eat with sambal balacan, you must ask from the waiter/waitress. They never put this sambal outside.

My favourites dish over there would be Pocket Salad. I will definitely visit them again just to eat their Pocket salad :)
