Yong Kee Seafood Restaurant

Last Friday, I and my fellow colleague went to Yong Kee Seafood Restaurant @ Bugis for dinner.
I got information (from my trusted informant) that they got serve this one unique food called Chao Tar Bee Hoon. If you understand Chinese, Chao Tar itself means burnt. Curiously about this ‘unique’ taste, I sabo kindly asked my colleague to go there and try.
What is so special about Chao Tar Bee Hoon (Burnt Bee Hoon)?
Some of you may think that it's crazy to eat burnt Bee Hoon. Who the hell will like burnt taste, right? Honestly, (after we tried) we quite surprised with the unique taste (not surprised because of the ‘burnt’ taste, okay!). It has a very unique and delicious taste indeed. The Bee Hoon served with some crispy on top and normal Bee Hoon in the bottom.
It's kind of difficult to find Chao Tar Bee Hoon in Singapore. You may go to Yong Kee Seafood Restaurant to try =)

Other dishes recommended by Yong Kee Seafood Restaurant:
  1. Seafood Tofu (the tofu is amazingly soft)
  2. Prawn Salad served with Honeydew (the prawn salad is simply refreshing)
  3. and last not least; Fried Pork Roll (two thumbs up for this dish)
