OldTown White Coffee

Hello Guys!!!

Today I want to share one cool restaurant to take your brunch. It called OldTown White Coffee.

Yup, based on the name, it sells all special foods from Ipoh, Malaysia.

We tried their signature dishes, such as Kaya & Butter Toast, OldTown Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun, and Steam Rice with Mushroom & Chicken.

OldTown Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun is very tasty. The soup has rich of flavour and the shrimps are fresh.

Steam Rice with Mushroom & Chicken is also nice. Although we need to wait around 15-20 minutes, it's worth the time. The steam rice is very hot. The chicken is tender, juicy and the portion is quite big.

Actually I am a bit disappointed with their Kaya & Butter Toast. It's just because the toast looks is totally different with their picture in the menu. But for the taste wise, it’s nice.

Visiting OldTown White Coffee will not be complete without trying their OldTown White Coffee. I believe this coffee is their most recommended beverage. It's reflected with this restaurant name.

This white coffee is very nice. Although I am not a coffee lover, I like this coffee very much.

Overall, I am very satisfied having my brunch over there. 

Nice food and affordable price makes this restaurant really worth to try.

SSIKKEK BBQ

Happy Wednesday to Everyone!!! It’s a two more days to weekend, Yippee!!!

Today I want to share with you all another Korean buffet restaurant called SSIKKEK BBQ. It has a few branches around Singapore. Last two weeks, I and colleagues went to Novena to give a try.

What is so special about SSIKKEK BBQ?

Okay, first of all (and the best part), their price is affordable. With slightly above S$20.00 for each person, you can get a lot varieties of raw foods (such as: chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, etc.) and “cooked” dishes.

They offer two different types of raw meat: marinated and not marinated. I prefer the marinated meat, simply because it's tastier =)
 
The marinated meats are fresh enough, except the shrimp. All of us skip their shrimp.

Their service quality is good as well. The waiter/waitress quite prompt and helpful to keep changing the aluminium foils which is used to grill the meat.

We all love having our dinner over there. Really worth money!

Professor Brawn Café

Last week we went to Velocity Novena to try this ‘quite attractive layout’ restaurant called Professor Brawn Café.

They offer many varieties of Western dishes. Their signature dishes are Prof`s Signature Fish & Chips and Gourmet Sausage with Rosti.

For the Gourmet Sausage with Rosti, you may choose the type of your preferable sausages. Such as Chicken Bratwurst, Black Pepper Chicken Sausage, Cheesy Chicken Sausage, English Pork Bratwurst, Spicy Italian Pork Sausage or Swiss cheese Pork Sausage.

We tried their Cheesy Chicken Sausage. Actually, there is nothing special with their Rosti. It's like a regular Rosti that you might found in another restaurant, but I love their cheesy Sausage.

For me, personally, I prefer their signature Fish and Chips. It's tasty and crispy. I guess it’s because they add ginger as one of their ingredients.

Overall, Professor Brawn Café is a nice place to have your lunch or dinner.
