Last week I got the invitation from “myVillage” management for the food tasting at Chinta Manis.
They introduced the dishes called Roti Jala set and Chiffon cake.
The food tasting event was started from 06:30 p.m. Since it was a working day, I only managed to reach there on 07:00 p.m.
A short introduction about Chinta Manis:
Chinta Manis is Peranakan Café and Patisserie that sells many types of Nyonya Kuehs, Western cake, local peranakan food and many more.
The kuehs in Chinta Manis is 100% handmade and served fresh every day.
The Roti Jala served with curry, egg sambal and Bibik Nyo's hash brown.
They also introduced their Specialty Drinks: Chrysanthemum Wolfberry (S$2), Barley (S$1.80), Tamarind Lemongrass (S$2) . All drinks are prepared at Chinta Manis' central kitchen with no additional preservatives. Drinks are brewed fresh every morning and made with fresh ingredients.
Thanks to “myVillage” management for the opportunity to be part on the food tasting event.
Fluffy, firm and moist cake that is baked with fresh Pandan juice, which creates the very natural colour and aromatic taste.
Only available after 2 pm.
Rolls of roti jala (fish-net crepes) served with curry, ½ a boiled egg, sambal and Bibik Nyo's hash brown
Chinta Manis makes their own rempah (mixed spices), which is used in the curry.
