Happy Lantern and Moon Cake Festival 2013

To all my super awesome readers, I just want wish you and your loved one a Happy Lantern and Moon Cake Festival 2013.

 

 

Here are some moon cakes that generously given to my sister by some lovely people =)

This is a version of Shanghai Moon Cake by Mayy Ho (my sister colleague). She was personally handmade this moon cake to be shared to her loved one, I believed. Never tried this type of moon cake before, but I can say that the pastry is crispy and delicious, and love both egg yolk and the lotus paste as well.
