Happy eating with maximum $5 at Wei Sam (Charcoal) Hong Kong Style Roasted
Did you remember I wrote about delicious prawn noodle in Mohamed Sultan area last week? Actually, nice foods around Mohamed Sultan area is not only that one. It's still have other stalls that sells delicious food to satisfy our taste bud.
The other stalls that I will review today is Wei Sam (Charcoal) Hong Kong Style Roasted stall. This stall is located just beside prawn noodle stall.
Wei Sam (Charcoal) Hong Kong Style Roasted is selling Roasted Chicken, Soya Sauce Chicken, Roasted Duck and Roasted Cha Siew. Those dishes come with either rice, noodle or kway teow.
A little story of mine, this stall is located nearby my office, so I frequently take away my lunch from this stall and eat at office. I ever try their chicken rice, cha sew rice and chicken kway teow. All the dishes are tasty.
For the sake of this article, I wake up earlier than usual only to have breakfast before going to work. It's because this place doesn't have a big space and always crowded during lunch time. It's difficult to find a seat to sit and put my camera bag.
This time, I order roasted chicken rice. The rice is fragrant and tasty. The chicken is tender enough. This delicious chicken rice price is S$3.30. Quite affordable, right?
Will I go there again? Yes.

Pondok Arela Indah
Today I will show you about a nice place that only open during night time and serves tasty food with affordable price in Jakarta named Pondok Arela Indah.
You will not get a comfort and cozy environment in this place. Otherwise, you will not found aircon and if you lucky, you will get bite from mosquito :p But don't worry, once you try the foods, you will be falling in love and don't care anymore about the environment. You will come again for the second times. Even this place offers more delicious foods than some restaurants in big mall.
Over there, we tried Nasi Uduk with Pecel Lele and Ayam Goreng.
Nasi Uduk is made from rice soaked in coconut milk, with clove, cassia bark and lemongrass (to make it fragrant). Although it's sound like Singapore's nasi lemak, but this Nasi Uduk is more delicious than nasi lemak.
Pecel Lele is a fried catfish that served with sambal pecel and vegetables. Ayam Goreng (fried chicken) in this place also served with sambal pecel and vegetables.
Both Pecel Lele and Ayam Goreng are crunchy are delicious. Sambal Pecel makes the taste perfect.
Other than nice Pecel Lele and Ayam Goreng, I also found a special food that you will don't want to miss it. It is fried Cabbage. They fried the big cabbage using oil. It's really delicious.
Will I go there again? Yes.

In this place, they have 4 different portions: teenager portion (S$4.00), queen portion (S$5.00), king portion (S$6.00) and luxurious portion (S$7.00).
I order teenager portion of dry Hokkien Prawn Mee. Although this is the smallest portion that they offer, but it's not considered small portion at all. Don't believed me? You may try yourself :)
Dry Hokkien Prawn Mee comes with a small bowl of soup.
Perhaps you are wondering " where do I get that S$4 cheap?". It's still considered cheap because it's located nearby Robertson quay, Liang Court and Mohamed Sultan road. The second reason is because they give a lot of prawn and the soup itself is rich of prawn essence.

D101 Durian
Yippie, the durian season is coming again. It's time to satisfy ourself with delicious durians. For today's post, I will review about D101 durian.
The characteristic of D101 durian is that it has a long and thin spines. This durians have a sweet taste and the flesh is thick. The seed is also considered small size.
I bought this durian at Pasar Malam near my place. Actually, I also bought some different kind of durians that I will put in the future's review.
The price of this D101 Durian is quite cheap (S$7.00). It's really worth to try.

Happy eating with maximum $5 at Seng Huat Coffee House
Boring with normal foods that you eat for breakfast? Looking for delicious foods for your kid's breakfast? You may try visiting Seng Huat Coffee House.
This place have special dish that will make you to take some pictures and put it on Instagram before you eat it. Curious? It's a pig shape bun. This bun is similar like burger.
They have a few types of bun for you to try. I choose Bacon and Egg Bun. They also add mayonnaise inside the bun. It's so delicious. FYI, don't ever request to not add the mayonnaise. It's because this mayonnaise makes the taste perfectly to this bun.
Other than that, they also have Soft Bun. My sister orders Soft Bun set meal. This set meal comes with the drink and egg. There are kaya and butter inside the soft bun. The butter is so thick and the kaya is delicious.
Will I go there again? Yes.

Kwetiaw Sapi Hayam Wuruk 61
Today I will show you my favorite place since I was a kid when craving kway teow (Indonesian called as kwetiaw) in Jakarta. The name is Kwetiaw Sapi Hayam Wuruk 61. This place is famous in Kelapa Gading area.
They sell two types of kway teow: kwetiaw siram and kwetiaw goreng. These Kwetiaw Siram and Kwetiaw Goreng use beef and beef tripe.
My favourite is kwetiaw siram.
If you visit Jakarta, be sure to try kwetiaw siram and kwetiaw goreng. They are delicious.
Btw this kwetiaw goreng is different with Singaporean's char kway teow. You should try it and let me know which one do you prefer :)
